The Vintage AIWA Transistor Tape Recorder TP-31 is a rare find from Japan that comes in its original box with the manual and accessories included. This unit is a collectible piece for enthusiasts of vintage audio and video equipment. With the Aiwa brand known for quality electronics, this tape recorder is sure to be a valuable addition to any vintage audio collection. Including the 2 original AIWA UM-2S 1.5V batteries, although they are dry, they are nostalgic pieces original to the device. Recorder was tested with fresh batteries and powers on. All functions appear to work however, I don’t have a tape to fully test it. Battery terminal is clean.
