This particular BiasMaster device allows you to monitor the bias current in real-time, safely and easily. This one has 2 adapters. It is not a tube tester, but a measuring device. If a shorted tube is used, then it will damage the measuring resistor in the probe, but not the meter itself. And, we do have spare probes to replace them, if needed. While adjusting the Bias control pot of your amp, the BiasMaster shows the actual result. This lets you set and evaluate all reasonable biasing ranges that your amp and tubes offer so that you can find and set your personal perfect choice. This is a must-have for anybody who services tube amps. It is remarkably useful and much safer for musicians that maintain their own equipment. As you know, the bias setting has a dramatic impact on the amps response, break-up articulation and dynamic character.
