These units always have leaky capacitors. You should digitize your old tapes before it’s too late. We replaced them with new ones.

This Video8 player had the door closed but when trying to test it, it opened and will not close again. I heard the tape transport moving when it first powered on but not it won’t do anything. The display lights up but that’s all.
