REVOX STUDER BRAKE LINING KIT. Triple lining kit!Nagravox special brake lining kit with triple brake linings for:All Revox reel to reel tape machines. E/F/G36, A77, B77, PR99, C270, A700 Studer 1/4″ reel to reel tape machines A67, B67, A807, A810, A80, B62, C37. A820, A807 If your brakes are not working properly or as efficiently, it could be that your brake linings are worn or contaminated with oil, grease, dirt. This special brake drum lining replacement kit contains a triple (three) – sufficient lining material to do two brake drums with a spare left over (maybe). They are appropriate to all Revox 1/4″ reel to reel machines and many Studer machines. The lining has its own thermo-setting adhesive which is cured in a normal domestic oven at 150 – 170 deg C. (For the G36 there is special limited baking due to the bakelite composition of the reel hubs). An instruction sheet is available detailing how to do it all. Its not difficult. Please note – the kit contains three (3) brake lining strips sufficient for one machine and TWO turntables or one and a half machines – 3 turntables if you dont stuff up!. Why are there 3 linings? Well, because in inexperienced hands this stuff is so sticky you can make an oops … quite easily! I certainly have – but then my good wife tells me I am a klutz deluxe! So this kit has a spare lining – just in case. The price is accordingly reduced by 50% for the 3rd lining compared to the dual kit. You see I managed to get a special from the European manufacturer after moaning and bleating that they should rather supply it in rolls. The rolls were too difficult logistically and so a compromise was struck for a triple kit. NAGRAVOX PARTS – Important Information. In respect of this listing only. We don’t really want to sell parts only on ebay! Our parts are listed on ebay for the benefit of customers who, at the same time purchase a kit from us. So, unfortunately due to the onerous time consuming administration foisted onto us by ebay and the freight / postal system, we have had to instigate a ‘hidden’ in built handling charge of $30 on the low value part listed here. This is incorporated into the shipping charge (ebay system) and why it may seem exorbitantly expensive. This ‘handling charge’ can be REFUNDED in full ($30) as a discount by requesting a combined invoice for any multiple purchase of a kit plus parts. A ‘hidden’ handling charge does not apply to kits or tape media / accessories and some more expensive parts which are nett. To be clear – there is a refund of any ‘hidden’ handling charge of $30 which is passed as a discount when you request an invoice for multiple items as long as one of these is a kit. You MUST request a ‘combined shipping’ or ‘send an invoice for combined shipping’ to enable this. Please check on your requested final invoice that I have applied the $30 discount. This message nor ‘hidden’ fee does is absent and is not applicable on those items in our store where the above message does not appear. It is also not applicable to direct dealing past customers. Our raison d’etre is to help enthusiasts fully restore their classic audio equipment to as near original performance using our carefully considered and designed kits. We don’t really wish to cater for occasional spare part sales which, to be blunt is a hassle and time consuming and which, in most cases, is unlikely to solve likely hidden or soon to surface problems on your Revox, Studer or Nagra equipment.
