VTG BIC 940 Belt Drive Multi Play / Manual Turntable Play Tested – Pls read
Appears to be in good working condition now. Turntable was frozen in place. Gently removed Turntable after freeing it up and cleaned all the grease that had hardened over the years. Cleaned mechanism underneath as well while Turntable was off. Original BIC belt in good condition is what it has on it. after everything was freed up I tested the operation and the arm moves as intended and the Turntable spins as intended. I have no way of testing any of the movements as far as arm travel distance or height or Turntable speed but it does function as intended. Looked to me like everything ended up where it should and the Turntable spun at atleast close to the correct rpm. Thank you for looking.
