  • Pioneer SX-750 Complete Rebuild Kit High-Quality Receiver Recap Caps Transistors

Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for the Pioneer SX-750. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild a Pioneer SX-750, and includes upgraded replacement main capacitors. This does not include new lights, fuses, or any resistors. This also does not include the driver or output transistors. Correct replacement outputs are MJ21195G/MJ21196G, available here. Please don’t buy any of the Chinese transistors on eBay–those are counterfeit and may blow up. This kit includes the following:Power Supply board: 9 diodes 1 capacitor (Nichicon PW) Protection/Power Supply Board: 17 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Panasonic FC, Wima film)12 transistors (Fairchild/Onsemi)1 heat-sink1 Relay (Omron) Amplifier Board: 6 transistors (Fairchild/Onsemi, includes two matched pairs of KSA992 to replace the 2SA798s)8 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Panasonic FC, Wima film)2 trimmers (Bourns) Tone board: 8 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Nichicon KL, Wima film) Muting board: 5 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Panasonic FC, Wima film) Tuner/Phono EQ board: 29 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Panasonic FC, Wima film)8 transistors (Fairchild/Onsemi, some boards will not need these) Main capacitors: Kemet 15000 uf 63v, same diameter as the old ones2.2uf 250v Panasonic film bypass capacitors Instructions These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. These are extremely high-quality parts, and they are what I use when I rebuild Pioneer equipment. I will include a surprisingly well-written instruction sheet, but rebuilding a receiver is fairly complicated, and you should know what you’re doing and have a decent soldering iron, heat-sink compound, and a dim-bulb tester. This kit may not fix your Pioneer SX-750, but it’s fairly likely that it will, and it will definitely help it run better. Please note that working on an SX-750 is a bit tricky–some of the boards are tucked in there and can be difficult to access. Please see my pictures for details. US shipping and handling is $12, and international is $28. If you have any questions, please ask. I have other kits and lots of vintage electronics listed–feel free to take a look!
