You will receive: Four (4) warm white LED wedge lamps (for the tuning dial) Two (2) wired 8v LEDs (for the function lamps) These are top-quality bulbs, and are the exact same ones I use when I rebuild vintage gear. These are top-of-the-line lights–I love using them! You will need a soldering iron, wire cutters, needlenose pliers, and a Philips screwdriver. Be very careful not to damage the tuning dial cord when you’re soldering! If you wrap the dial cord in aluminum foil ahead of time, that will help protect it. The scarcity of good, honest techs who can do good and reasonably priced restoration/rebuild of audio equipment inspired me to create this restoration kit. In today’s day and age, it is difficult to find a knowledgeable technician who can service your audio gear properly. I have seen many poor quality restorations of equipment that cost way too much for their owners. In 99% of the cases, only a few parts were replaced, instead of a full and proper restoration job.A proper restoration must replace all electrolytic capacitors on all boards. Do not fall for partial kits that restore just one PCB (power supply, power amp, etc.). This is not a good or proper way to restore your audio equipment. Up for sale here is this brand new Omron LY2-0-DC48 relay. This is a replacement relay for the the Marantz 1250, Kenwood Model 700M (soft-start relay only), Pioneer SA-9900 (overtemp and protection relay), Pioneer SX-1250 (soft-start relay only), Pioneer SPEC 2 (soft-start relay only), Pioneer SX-1280 (soft-start relay only), and SAE 2600. On the Pioneer SA-9900, SX-1250, and Spec-2 you will need to take the old relay out of its case, take this new relay out of its case, and then put the new relay in the old case in order to mount it. It’s pretty easy. This is fairly easy to install as long as you know what you’re doing and have a decent soldering iron. I will email you basic installation instructions when you purchase this.
