  • Bose 550 Complete Rebuild Kit High-Quality Spatial Receiver Recap Set

Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for the Bose 550 Spatial Receiver. This includes replacements for all electrolytic and tantalum capacitors in the Bose 550, as well as replacements for 2 transistors that often need replacing. All capacitors are Nichicon PW, Nichicon KL, Panasonic FC, Wima film, and two Nichicon VR 6800 uf 50v main filter capacitors. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same parts I use when I work on vintage stereo gear. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is moderately complicated, and you should know what you’re doing and have a decent soldering iron and a dim-bulb tester with a 40W, 60W, or 100W incandescent bulb. This kit may not fix your receiver, but it’s pretty likely that it will, and it will definitely help it run better. Please see my pictures for details. US shipping and handling is $8, and international is $28. If you have any questions, please ask. Looking for more parts? I have power switches, feet, pushbuttons, top case screws, bottom screws, faceplate screws, white LED fuse lamps, blue LED fuse lamps, 6.3v bi-pin bulbs, 8v bi-pin bulbs, 12v bi-pin bulbs, wired 8v 60ma bulbs, new power cords, new main capacitors for the Marantz 1060/2230, wired Pioneer speaker plug replacements, new 630v yellow film capacitors at 13 different values, a large variety of transistors for vintage stereo repair, and more. Just use “add to cart” on everything you want and then check out for combined shipping.
