New Design: By popular request I have changed the footprint for the capacitor to accept 10mm snap in capacitors, see photos for details. Capacitor Adapter circuit board for recapping Tektronix TM500 series power supplies. TM501, TM502, TM503, TM504, TM505 etc. Uses 3/4″ square layout same as the original capacitors but adapts to use 5mm, 7.5mm, 10mm, 12.5mm, or 15mm capacitor spacing. Our Power Supply Refurbishing Kit includes the following: (A) (2) 80/40/30/20 @525 V Twist Lock Cans CE Manufacturing USA Made, Brand New Made in the USA, to Mallory’s original specs, on Mallorys original machinery. 80 µF, 40 µf, 30 µF and 20 µF section, all rated at 525 VDC. 1-3/8″ diameter x 3″ tall Made in the USA by CE Manufacturing OR (Depending on Availability) (2) 80/40/30/20 @550 V Twist Lock Cans CTech USA made You can replace the the (2) 100/30 uf cans in the MC75 with these (connect the 80/40/20 uf sections together to get increased capacitance of 140 uf, use the 30 uf as is). (B) (2) CTech USA Made 250uf 250v Isolated cans 105C Or (Depending on stock) (2) German Made Authenticap 250uf/250V (or 330uf/250V) Brand New Isolated Twist Lock Cans for the voltage doubler. 85C These are also direct fit, no chassis modifications or clamps required. (C) (1) 22uf /200V Electrolytic for replacing the Bias Filter Cpacitor. (Note: this is supplied as either a single 22 uf capacitor rated at 200V or greater, or (2) 47 uf capacitors rated at 100V, to be used in series). (D) (1) 3 X 1N4007 Silicon Diode for replacing the Selenium rectifier and both main rectifiers. (E) (1) 10K Trim Potentiometer (POT) (we actually give you a few different values), for adjusting the bias voltage to the proper level (compensating for the lower silicon diode drop and adding more precision). The POT is simply uses to determine the correct resistor value for your bias circuit, of which you then obtain and install. Its explained in the insatalliton tips.
