This deck automatically demagnetizes heads on each power on cycle. Adjusted correct playback levels with Dolby level reference cassette. This deck has been serviced Tested all functions and they work as they should.

AIWA AD-3250 Cassette Deck RESTORED New Belts WORKS
I serviced this deck and bought a new set of belts that cost 50 delivered to ensure that they were quality and not cheap Chinese ones. I cleaned and lubricated the transport. Adjusted the speed and the azimuth and I also calibrated the frequency response for each tape type for playback and recording. The one issue it has is that the button to turn the Dolby noise reduction on does not stay engaged. When I recorded with the deck for testing and calibration I just used a book and left it next to the switch.

The AIWA AD-6800 cassette deck is a vintage audio device manufactured in Japan by Aiwa. It is working and has minor cosmetic issues, I have not tested all functions, however the unit is operating and is a great candidate for a full renovation and calibration. The “open” key and “limit” are missing outer pieces, but work normally. Replacement is possible, but not required for current operation. A set of new idlers and improved belts would likely help performance. Sold “as-is”.
