The 1LA6 tube is an earlier version of the 1L6 tube, and can be used in place of the 1L6 tube in your Zenith Transoceanic with this adapter. The 1LA6 tube with this adapter has slightly more capacitance that the 1L6 tube, which will cause a frequency shift on the upper shortwave bands.
