Sansui SR-525 Recap Kit Capacitors Turntable Speed Repair Set
Up for sale here is this complete recap kit for the Sansui SR-525 turntable. This is all the capacitors you need to recap the power supply board and the hidden motor circuit board in the SR-525. The old capacitors start getting leaky, resulting in speed issues. This will take care of most of the circuit-board-related issues you will see with these turntables, except if you have a bad IC chip or transistor. Leaky capacitors can damage the transistors or chips, so even if your turntable is working, you should still recap it. This kit includes replacements for all electrolytic capacitors on the boards. These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I work on vintage stereo gear. Capacitors are Nichicon PW, Nichicon KL, and Panasonic FC caps. Up for sale here is this set of 4 new hard rubber feet with screws. These are perfect replacements for vintage Pioneer feet. They are not exact replicas for the original feet–they are about the same size, but taper a bit instead of being perfectly cylindrical. The feet are 25mm wide at the top and 15mm high. They come with four nice stainless steel sheet-metal screws for screwing them to the bottom panel. These are really nice high-impact hard rubber and look really good. Pioneer SX-525 Complete Rebuild Kit High-Quality Receiver Recap Caps Transistors
Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for the Pioneer SX-525. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild the Pioneer SX-525 power supply board, amplifier board, phono EQ board, and preamp board, plus it includes upgraded replacement main capacitors and 4 new output transistors. Lights I have listed separately. This includes the following: Power Supply Board: 5 capacitors7 diodes1 transistor Amplifier Board: 12 capacitors16 transistors2 resistors Phono EQ Board: 8 capacitors4 transistors Preamp Board:8 capacitors2 transistors Tuner Board: 12 capacitors 3 new main capacitors (same diameter as the old caps so they will fit the clamps)2 capacitors (one for the meter, one for the AWX-012 board) Instructions These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild Pioneer equipment. The main caps are one Epcos 3300 uf 100v cap and two Cornell-Dubilier 4700 uf 63v caps, the other capacitors are 105° Panasonic FC, Nichicon PW, and Wima film caps at the same uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings, and the transistors and diodes are the correct Fairchild/Onsemi subs for the original transistors. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is moderately complicated, and you should know what you’re doing and have a decent soldering iron, heat-sink compound, and a dim-bulb tester with a 60W or 100W incandescent bulb. Two of the new main caps are a hair smaller than the old ones, so if you put a single layer of electrical tape around the base they will fit the clamps perfectly. This kit may not fix your Pioneer SX-525, but it’s pretty likely that it will, and it will definitely help it run better. US shipping and handling is $6, and international is $28. The scarcity of good, honest techs who can do good and reasonably priced restoration/rebuild of audio equipment inspired me to create this restoration kit.
