FM tuner aligned & MPX sensitivity maximized (FM/FM stereo performance is great) 6, AM tuner aligned 7. DC offset checked and adjusted to as close to zero as possible 8. Amplifier idle current checked and reset to factory specification 9. All controls cleaned, and balance slide pot lubricated 10. All inputs checked including the phono input and preamp 9. Continuous power output measured at low, mid, and high frequencies with power output at approximately 16 W per channel at clip into 8 ohms in 4 channel mode 10. Power output measured at 1 kHz into 8 Ohms in 2 channel (bridged) mode, and is approximately 38 W RMS per channel 11. Failed dial and indicator bulbs replaced with new 12. Permanent PCB fuse for front lighting replaced with standard AGC fuse holder and AGC fuse for easy replacement if ever necessary (see our pics) 13. In today’s day and age, it is difficult to find a knowledgeable technician who can service your audio gear properly. I have seen many poor quality restorations of equipment that cost way too much for their owners. In 99% of the cases, only a few parts were replaced, instead of a full and proper restoration job.A proper restoration must replace all electrolytic capacitors on all boards. Do not fall for partial kits that restore just one PCB (power supply, power amp, etc.). This is not a good or proper way to restore your audio equipment.
