Item has been tested to the extent that I could but as we did not have a reel to play to test it fully. Seems to Work Fantastic.Meter lights up, Fast Forward, Rewind & Counter at top works great.However, I wish I had a set of reels with something on it to fully test it. I believe it works and hope when tested by the buyer they are more than happy with it.However due to the weight and cost to ship I am selling this AS-IS with no refunds or returns.Has some scratches on the outside of the box.I did not clean it up at all (will leave that to buyer).I know nothing about reel to reel.Reel to reel weight 55.7 pounds.Seller has the right to switch method of shipping if method listed exceed $100

Akai 1730ss Reel To Reel Power Tested READ PLAYS NEEDS SERVICE OR FOR PARTS
Powers on and plays it is very scratchy and has a jump from dent on rollers which is causing bad skipping it does play not well will need service! ONLY TESTING DONE I am not an expert and sure it will need an in depth service / experienced eye.
