Re-spider kit for the 12″ woofer. Red over gray foam like original. Includes a 4 piece shim pack, and everything else pictured. This will fit 99% of Cerwin 12″ woofers that use the common 2″ voice coil. If you have a woofer like the 121-4 which uses a 1.5″ voice coil, I have the spiders for that too. Just message me when you buy, and I’ll make sure to put that spider in your kit. This kit is enough for 1 speaker. This kits has the 3.75″ dustcap. If you need the 4.5″ dustcap, let me know and I’ll pack that one. If you need a kit for a 15″ woofer let me know. Some speakers came with different woofers, and many speakers have had woofers swapped out over their lifetimes, so popping the woofer out and getting the model off the woofers is the best way to verify, rather than speaker model. Recone kit for the Cerwin Vega 122W2 woofer. Red over gray foam like original. All new high precision voice coils, on ALUMINUM formers like the originals. Cerwin used aluminum formers for a reason. They are stronger and dissipate heat better than kapton, which is what everyone else uses in their kits these days. Several years, and more recones than I can count went into developing these to provide kits that not only take the pounding that I know you’re going to give them, but also match the t/s parameters of the originals. These cones are pressed rather than pulp, so they are thinner but more dense, and retain the same mass as original. The “dot” pattern on these cones is slightly more pronounced which you can see up close. I have sold MANY of these kits, and MANY woofers using these kits, and everyone has been extremely happy with their performance. These spiders are initially stiffer than the tan ones, so they do take a few hours to break in, however the x-max is identical. If you prefer the stock looking spiders, message me when you buy them and I’m happy to put those in instead. Kits include everything in the picture. Shims available on request. Recone kit for the Cerwin Vega 121-4 L121-4 and W121-4 woofer. Red over gray foam like original. Kits include everything in the picture, all the glue and epoxy, and pack of 4 shims for tight accurate shimming. NOTE: If you have the W121-4 woofer (280se), that woofer takes a different voice coil and dustcap, so if you need that recone kit, you can buy these, but message me when you do, and I will include the correct voice coil and dustcap for you. Also, these kits take the most commonly used 4 ohm coils that were used in those woofers. But some 121-4 woofers were made as 8 ohms with no difference in the part number. If you need 8 ohm recone kits, contact me first, but I currently do have the 8 ohm coils in stock.
