Included in this listing are 2 Belton 9 pin PCB mount tube socket with shield base, 2 premium PCBs for mounting, and a pair of right angle 10 position 2.54mm pin header connectors. They come unassembled (I can solder it up for a small fee, but where’s the fun in that?!) You can use most any 2.54mm pitch connector instead- including the molex shown in the last photo. Great for mounting tubes horizontally in a 1u rack enclosure or for breadboard use (just be cautious of high voltage and high filament currents with breadboards- and in general). Pin numbers of the connector match that of the tube, with the 10th pin being a ground connection for the tube shield (not included) and the ground plane of the PCB. After trying many tube sockets I’ve found Belton to be the very best available today. The only issue is their pin retainers are very tight. This is good for holding the tube in the horizontal position and allowing for many tube swaps without losing tension, but it means you need to be careful when changing tubes- provide some support to the PCB with your other hand when removing and installing tubes.
