The speakers sound awesome, better than my clock radio we buy today. Really loud and like a real stereo sound. The tuning knob is touchy, meaning as you are dialing in a station it is very static but when you hear the station and let go of the knob, the static goes away. It is like our touching the knob, our body is causing the static. I had to chuckle as I am a conspiracy theorist and thought oh boy, that’s all the poisons in my body and this piece of equipment was before all that gunk polluted us!!!! LOL But, yes radio I feel worked great both AM/FM. I DID NOT MESS WITH CHECKING ALARM BECAUSE I HAD NO CLUE HOW TO SET IT AND DIDN’T WANT TO BREAK IT. THAT PART I AM SELLING “AS IS” !!
