  • Pioneer PL-518 Tonearm Latch For Stock Arm Rest – Other Models In Description

    Pioneer PL-518 Tonearm Latch For Stock Arm Rest Restore your Tonearm Rest with my replacement latch. Latch is shown in the main picture. The other pictures are for illustration only to show how the latch fits and functions. Designed from an original latch and slightly adjusted for the PL-518. This latch also fits the PL-112D, PL-115, PL-500, PL-510, PL-514 and PL-516. The stock part numbers for those rests are PXA-104 and PXA-421. The Latch is 3D Printed with ABS Plastic. The latch fits securely around the tonearm to lock it in place. To install this latch on your existing rest, only requires a few tools. Your Tonearm Rest must be in tact with the exception of the latch and still have its pin in order to install it. The pin is easily removed by pushing from the front or back depending on the model. You can use something like an awl tool and needle nose pliers. Pull the pin out to remove it and install the new latch.   • 4 New 22000 uf 100v Chemi-Con Capacitors Pioneer SX-1250 Main Filter EXACT FIT

    Up for sale here is this set of 4 brand new Nippon Chemi-Con 22000 uf 100v capacitors. These are drop-in replacements for the Pioneer SX-1050, SX-1080, SX-1250, SX-1280, SX-5590, SPEC 2, and SPEC 4. They fit the old clamps perfectly! These are the same capacitors I use when I am rebuilding vintage Pioneer gear. These measure 63.5mm in diameter and 118mm tall, and use screw terminals. The screws are included. These are authentic Made in USA capacitors. Please note that the screws on these are thicker than the screws on the old main caps, so you’ll need to enlarge the terminals on the receiver in order to accommodate this. You can drill out the old ring terminals and center mounting piece with a 5mm drill bit if you want, or just replace the old ring terminals, or cut the ring terminals open to make them into spade terminals. Please see my pictures for details. The current batch of capacitors I am selling has 28W32L codes on them, and the boxes are dated 2234, so these were made the 34th week of 2022. A note about installation: Main filter capacitors are usually used to provide the positive and negative rails to the amplifier section, so one of them will appear to be wired backwards (with positive to chassis ground). This is normal. Before you replace your capacitors, take some clear pictures of the wiring so you will know how to connect the new ones. If your equipment starts blowing fuses after replacing the main filter capacitors, you probably wired one backwards. US shipping and handling is $15, and international is $75.
