    I created side rails for my personal RT-707 reel to reel tape deck, then decided to make them available for sale. The sales have been surprising! I guess I’m not the only one who doesn’t like looking at rack mount notches or wants to cover up unsightly ‘rack rash’. Soon after I listed the RT-707 rails I started receiving requests for RT-909 side rails. Since I don’t have a RT-909 I really didn’t know how long to make them but a fellow eBay seller (Jim at ReelHiFi) was kind enough to take the time and send me photos showing the measurements. I created a two piece solution (building on the RT-707 rails) with a separate extension and sent them to Jim for fitting. After a slight adjustment to the length and fitment based on his feedback, I now have a set of RT-909 side rails available for sale! Thanks to Jim at ReelHiFi for all the assistance!
