  • Beckman (RCA) 5963 Vacuum Tubes Tested Used Good Lot Of 5

    Item is one unmatched lot of Beckman (RCA) 5963 vacuum tubes. These tubes are used and have dust, shadowing or label discoloration that appear with extended use. However, they are clean and test strongly and will perform well for a long time. These tubes and have been tested and are good. All tested tubes are at least “GOOD” on my Superior Instrument tube tester (most 7, 8 or 9 pin tubes) or meet the minimum strength on my U-Test-Em drug store tester (most other tubes). If a tube is labelled as untested, it is because I do not have the necesssary equipment to test it. All tubes that don’t meet your expectations can be returned regardless of their test status. Sets of vacuum tubes labelled as pairs, quartets, sets, etc, came to me grouped together or labelled as such. My tube testers are not sophisticated enough to guarantee that all sets of tubes are fully matched correctly. Again, if you are unsatisfied with the tubes you receive, you can send them back for a refund. –> All items are inspected to ensure that they ship in working order ready to use. Any damage or wear outside of that which comes from normal usage is noted above in the description.   • 2 New 6800 uf 100v Kemet Main Filter Capacitors Marantz Model 14 15 16 16B 30 32

    Up for sale here is this set of 2 brand new Chemi-Con 6800 uf 100v capacitors. These will work great in the Marantz Model 14, 15, 16, 16B, 30, and 32. They fit the old clamps perfectly! Some of those amps used 5000 uf or 5450 uf caps, but Marantz recommended upgrading to 6800 or 6900 uf caps, so these are great replacements. The Marantz 15 uses four of these, so just set the quantity to 2 if you want 4 caps. The body of each capacitor measures 36mm in diameter and 82mm tall. These are 85°C 11000 hour capacitors, which means they can handle up to 85°C, or 185° Fahrenheit, and they will last at that temperature for at least 11000 hours. These will obviously never see that much heat, so they will be good for the next 40-50 years at least. These use screw terminals, and the screws are included. These are authentic Kemet capacitors, manufactured in early 2024. A note about installation: Main filter capacitors are usually used to provide the positive and negative rails to the amplifier section, so one of them will appear to be wired backwards (with positive to chassis ground). This is normal. Before you replace your capacitors, take some clear pictures of the wiring so you will know how to connect the new ones. If your equipment starts blowing fuses after replacing the main filter capacitors, you probably wired one backwards. US shipping and handling is $6, and international is $28.
