Up for sale here is this recap kit for the Dual CS 1256, CS 1257, CS 505-1, and CS 505-3 turntable. The old capacitors will crack in half and short out, resulting in all sorts of problems, including your turntable spinning backwards. The old capacitors are usually pretty bad, so even if your turntable is working, you should still recap it. This kit includes replacements the three “safety capacitors.” These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I work on vintage stereo gear. This listing is for 3 brand new Kemet film safety caps. I will include fairly basic instructions, but this is pretty easy. You should know what you’re doing and have a decent soldering iron.
