This item is preowned in good working condition . has been tested and works When you switch the stations, the blue line moves, sometimes gets stuck when I was testing it out. I kept moving clockwise counterclockwise on the knob and eventually it moved Antenna is broken. Sound is good Battery compartment is a little rusty, but still works. Sold as shown

General Electric 7-2990A AM/FM Short Wave Radio Vintage WORKS WITH ISSUES READ
This eBay listing is for a vintage/used General Electric GE model 7-2990A AM/FM/Short Wave radio that comes as you see pictured in the listing and noted above. I just tested this out in my basement office and was able to tune in AM and FM local stations just fine but when I went to change the station to the higher range, the needle seemed to get stuck right around 101-102 FM range and I can’t seem to get it off from that area now. I even tried AM and all of the Short Wave settings and the needle won’t turn even though the knob is turning fine…sorta like it’s stuck now in that position. I did have it working until I started to play around with the radio and now it’s no longer working. The radio does need a good cleaning. The antenna on top is broken off as well.

The radio was a portable radio from 1932 and is considered a rare circa radio. The radio ran on batteries, not sure how they are hooked up the the radio. The front of the radio is made out of wood, and the case is leather.
