Missing tip of the antenna. Has rust in the battery compartment and will probably not work with batteries. AFC Lever is rusted and hard to switch. Tested with power cord. Did not test headphone jack. Please look at pictures for cosmetic details. Pictures are of the actual item.

General Electric 7-2990A AM/FM Short Wave Radio Vintage WORKS WITH ISSUES READ
This eBay listing is for a vintage/used General Electric GE model 7-2990A AM/FM/Short Wave radio that comes as you see pictured in the listing and noted above. I just tested this out in my basement office and was able to tune in AM and FM local stations just fine but when I went to change the station to the higher range, the needle seemed to get stuck right around 101-102 FM range and I can’t seem to get it off from that area now. I even tried AM and all of the Short Wave settings and the needle won’t turn even though the knob is turning fine…sorta like it’s stuck now in that position. I did have it working until I started to play around with the radio and now it’s no longer working. The radio does need a good cleaning. The antenna on top is broken off as well.
