“Isolated loop” Closed loop design. Heads have been demagnetised. Found a couple of weak solder joints and they have been reworked. Using a test tape I/O level have been set. Every featue functions as it should.

Pioneer RT-707 7 inch auto reverse DIRECT DRIVE Reel to Reel – Needs Light
This comes directly from my grandfather’s audio setup, he moved to a retirement home and decided to move on from the equipment. He had it serviced a few times throughout the years and took immaculate care of his belongings. That being said, he did cut the side of the front panel to fit into his setup.
