Up for sale is the legendary McIntosh MC2100 Solid State Power Amplifier. Why the MC2100?. Model: MC2100. Type: Power Amplifier. Pure Power: Rated at 105W per channel, it drives even demanding speakers with ease, maintaining perfect impedance matching regardless of the load (4, 8, or 16 ohms).

This unit is freaking awesome and working as it should. I’ve used it daily for the past month without an issue and it almost found a permanent spot in my rig. Unfortunately the original owner is no longer with us so I can’t confirm any service history, but research shows me this unit originally came with big silver capacitors, which makes me presume it’s been serviced. By the way it performs this wouldn’t surprise me. It’s hard to tell from the pictures but all of the lettering is there and not faded.
