We have for sale a paper original factory service manual for a McIntosh MR-78. Generally clean unless noted otherwise. Please read below for details: We are selling off service manuals from our old shop and that of another friendly competitor from the area. These were both very active repair shops in their day and the manuals got used! We will try to point out any flaws we spot other than ones visible in the pictures. Two versions of the service manual are included:Serial Number AD1001-AD5164 in one manualAD5165-AD9999 + Beginning with CG1001 in second manual There is often writing in the manuals but generally it is helpful service information to help fix a quirky problem a technician encountered while working on the unit. When it says ”service notes on back page” or ”see bulletins” on the front cover it doesn’t necessarily mean they are in this manual! Often the bulletins were kept elsewhere in the shop. Sorry unable to respond to requests for specific manuals. I will list more as I have time but I’m still actively busy with other parts of what is now a one man operation.
