McIntosh MR 78 FM Tuner — EXCELLENT WORKING CONDITION
Despite the very unfortunate crack in the front glass, this tuner is in excellent working condition. The internals are dust free, the tuning knob feels as smooth as ever, and I made sure to plug it in before listing to ensure the fuse is still a-ok. This tuner does have a purely cosmetic crack in the glass, the backing light has burned out, and the cabinet it resides in could use a touch up… the internals — the things we actually care for — are otherwise in excellent condition. I took a video of it in use, but ebay wont let me post it.

Here’s a McIntosh MR-78 stereo tuner, arguably one of the finest stereo tuners ever manufactured. That’s about it. Everything appears to be functioning properly. I don’t know when the tuner was last serviced, but everything appears to be in good order, at least to the “naked ear” and the “naked eye.”.
