Complete visual inspection2. Allow 1 minute warm up time3. Test for actual real-life mutual conductance (life) of the tube (including any shorts,gas and leakage)4. Test for proper gain of the tube (perhaps the single most important test of a preamp tube5. Test for noise -both in static and dynamic situations6. Repeat all tests for accuracy on other tester If some prove defective during testing, and we are unable to provide a substitute acceptable to buyer, an immediate no hassle refund will be issued.
