The RT-707 is a gorgeous deck and looks stunning when mounted in a rack. When it’s notin a rack, it looks “unfinished” to me. The empty rack mounting holes always bothered me. One solution is to a case for the 707 but they are very expensive and it cuts down on air circulation making your deck run hotter than it should. My solution is to create these beautiful solid Mahogany wood side panels that are secured using the rack mount holes. Please keep in mind that wood varies in appearance. Easy to mount – just slide them on and hand-tighten the screws. Takes all of a minute.
