The scarcity of good, honest techs who can do good and reasonably priced restoration/rebuild of audio equipment inspired me to create this restoration kit. In today’s day and age, it is difficult to find a knowledgeable technician who can service your audio gear properly. I have seen many poor quality restorations of equipment that cost way too much for their owners. I have been servicing Bose units for a while. With years I’ve developed deep respect toward Bose gear . It is a pity to see how many units are suffering from always failing incandescent bulbs! How much money is wasted for services to replace those incandescent bulbs over and over again! After many years of back and forth I decided to develop a perfect/exact LED replacement that has the same color temperature for the meters, indicators, lettering/paneling. Due to this I decided to develop these proper voltage bulbs. I got in touch with a manufacturer of LED bulbs and worked with them to develop this LED bulbs. I am glad to announce that I succeeded. I am very happy with the result and am sure you will be too! Set of : 7 new LED bulbs for BOSE 1801 amp: 4 x warm white for meters 3 x neon green for lettering (to enhance the faded acid green color of the faceplate lettering) 4 x special McIntosh style blue gel filters (optional to install).
