It may fit other X-series decks where TEAC used this size motor with an 8mm shaft. On the X-1000/2000 family, go through the tension set up per the manual. Replacing reel motors on the X series (except for X-3 which has no such issues) is a challenge on the models without servo tension (X-20 and earlier).
