In the case of an item that doesn’t function as intended, there is a chance that other flaws, that we are not aware of, may be present. Please take that into consideration when purchasing. Does not include the manual or any original packaging. Unit shows some wear and scratches, but overall is in good condition. The face is clean with a couple scuff marks, all switches and knobs are clean and work as intended and all of the illumination works, the power switch is missing the plastic cap that goes on it but otherwise everything is intact. This unit has been modified and has had the record player removed from the top, the other input and outputs seem to be working just fine however. When connected to speakers and antenna the sound quality is very good and can get rather loud if needed. So in rare instances, that which was working 100% at my house may require adjustment or servicing before working equally well at yours.   • Power Amplifier SAE 2400L Repair KIT – all capacitors

    I offer a KIT of capacitors for the Power Amplifier SAE 2400L. The devices I’ve serviced are about 30-50 years old. Any device that is so old should be thoroughly serviced, because the manufacturers did not assume that it would work for such a long time. Some of the components have a specific service life. Among them are electrolytic capacitors, where one of the electrodes is a liquid electrolyte. Over the time and due to the storage conditions, the device dires up, so the capacitors change their parameters, what causes sound malfunctions. In extreme cases, the old capacitors can lead to failure and extensive damage. A good idea is to replace all the electrolytic capacitors with new ones. The capacitor set I am selling contains all the necessary electrolytic camapitors for the SAE 2400L. I chose them in terms of capacity and rated voltage. All set includes good quality new electrolytic capacitors from brands such as: Nichicon, ELNA, Rubycon, of various series. They’re all manufactured with audio equipment in mind. They also have a low ESR. You can also get the factory schematic to the SAE 2400L as an addition. If you are interested, please write ma a message and enter your email address.
