Another benefit to the thermoplastic material is that the recessed bumpers resist stress cracks and have good non-marking qualities. Each screw-on rubber foot has a plated steel support bushing. The bushing absorbs the fastener load so that the foot is able to be mounted using a range of screws and rivets without distortion to the foot. The thermoplastic composition of the recessed foot is resistant to most chemicals, ozone and aging. These bumpers are excellent for preventing slippage, limiting floor scratching and softening sound.
