Unit records and plays great see video for demonstration. In the video I am switching between source on the left then tape on the right during recording. Look closely at the pictures for condition.

It did turn on and all the buttons were working on the cassette deck. The play button worked, stop, pause, etc. However, as you can see in the photos, the eject button is missing, so I am not able to open the cassette deck.
