These foams are designed for refoaming the angle attach cones that used the thin lip flat attach foam. These foams are not for the flat attach cones, the ones that have the flat lip on the edge of the cone, like the D9.

These foams are slightly different, and done that way by painstaking research and design. If you’re familiar with refoaming Cerwins, you’ve undoubtedly seen where the ID of the foam is just slightly too large, so when you’re done, you can see a little of the old glue ring inside your new foam, leaving a sloppy look.
