This is the legendary first generation inverted dome tweeter, designed for Epicure Electronics by the famous audio engineer Winslow Burhoe. This is one of the most highly respected tweeters of the vintage audio era. Has a low cut-off point and can be used not only with EPI speakers, but any other model seeking a quality tweeter. The tweeter being offered is 100% working and has been fully tested. Provides exceptional detail and imaging, as well as world famous dispersion qualities. Was revolutionary when introduced, but is now acknowledged as one of the greatest driver designs in audio history. Pulled from a pair of EPI speakers with non-functional woofers.
