This is one of the underrated receivers from the mid to late 70s. This receiver is in great condition. Recently serviced. rebuilt power amp board. The KR-6600 was positioned as a high-performance, mid-to-high range receiver in Kenwood's lineup during the mid 70s, it produces a warm, classic analog sound with incredible dynamics 56 Watts per channel into 8 ohm load. It can accommodate up to 3 separate pairs of speakers. the signal strength meter does not move but it pick up FM stations without problems. very heavy unit. close to 40 lbs
