With years I've developed deep respect toward McIntosh gear . It is a pity to see how many units are suffering from always failing incandescent bulbs! How much money is wasted for services to replace those incandescent bulbs over and over again! After many years of back and forth I decided to develop a perfect/exact LED replacement that has the same color temperature dial, lettering/paneling. Due to this I decided to develop these colored LED with foggy lens and proper voltage bulbs. I got in touch with a manufacturer of LED bulbs and worked with them to develop this LED bulbs. Included: - Installation Instructions (PDF file) - 12 (1 extra) x 6.3V Warm white LED bulbs (These bulbs have milky lens that allows the light to spread evenly and at much wider angle than other LEDs with clear lens. The angle is the same as in incandescent bulbs) Warm white provides illumination like incandescent bulbs but without the heat which can cause premature de-laminating of glass. LED also has a very long lifespan so you won't need to be concerned with the hassle of constantly changing bulbs. Bulbs will be tested for quality assurance prior to shipping.
