Up for sale is Pilot AA-903 restoration kit. ———- The scarcity of good, honest techs who can do good and reasonably priced restoration/rebuild of audio equipment (especially tube gear) made me start offering this restoration kit.In today’s day and age it is very hard to come by a knowledgeable tech who can service your audio gear well. I have seen many poor quality restorations of equipment that cost way too much to its owners.In 99% of the cases there were only few parts replaced, instead of a full and proper restoration job. On the other hand, if one succeeds in finding a good tech, a wait time is usually 6-12 months for the unit to be serviced and costs is sky-high!!! In this kit I offer parts and instructions for a full/complete restoration of your audio equipment. I have been servicing audio equipment for many years and have developed deep respect toward all good equipment, especially tube gear. I really do think they sound amazing if properly restored. I have seen many bad quality restorations/fix jobs done to these units that made them sound cheap and very low quality. Knowing how amazing and warm these units can sound, I have decided to develop this kit to help you do a great job on your equipment. It includes very good upgrades and improvements that MUST be done to the unit. Please do your audio equipment a favor and replace the most important components that are most likely 90% dead. Power / Filter stage caps are those large silver cans mounted on top of the chassis and sometimes underneath. This restoration pack will make a huge difference in the sound quality. All the parts are of high quality Japanese Nichicon / Panasonic / IC / United Chemi capacitors. I provide several instructions on how to mount those new electrolytic caps. The best one is to rebuild those original cans. You will receive a step-by-step instructions and all the proper caps needed for that. This technique will keep the original look of the unit. I am extremely particular about the quality of the parts provided with this kit. Knowing how many bogus/fake caps, diodes, resistors etc. out there, I source all the parts from reputable whole-sellers and buy them in bulk. Pair of Pilotone Amplifiers AA-905 AA905 Pilot KT66 Output Tube Integrated Amps
This listing is for a Very Rare Classic Pair of Pilot AA-905 AA905 Pilotone Tube Integrated Mono Amplifiers. The amplifiers are in working condition and are a pair of very nice sounding tube amplifiers. These amplifiers are quite rare and I have not seen too many of them up for sale through the years in fact I do not know if I have seen another pair for sale. The original tube complement included a pair of KT66 tubes as the original output tubes. This pair of amplifiers which I am selling in this listing have 6L6GC output tubes in them. The cosmetics are as shown in the pictures. Both amplifiers have original AA-905 face plates and original bottom covers. The feet on the bottom covers are different size and that is one amplifier looks a little taller than the other, which could be remedied by placing a set of the same feet on each of the amplifiers. I have just chosen to let the new owner decide on what type of feet he or she would prefer. I have not done extensive polishing on the brass but it looks like it could be brought to a shinier level than I polished them. Due to age the amplifiers are being sold AS IS. The buyer pays for shipping and handling/packing, there is a small international paperwork preparation fee of $35 per package for items being shipped outside of the USA..

Hammond H-AO-43-1 Working Tube Amp Chassis 1968 NICE TUBES! MAKE OFFER
Tested and working H-AO-43-1 Completely stock and will need updates obviously. Great start to an 18watt conversion. Tubes are nice 2 USA GE 5U4/12BH7 2 Mullard 12AX7’s 2 Amperex EL84 Sold as is due to the nature of tube amps and age of components but amp worked as should after cleaning pins in the organ. I have too many projects and repair work otherwise I’ll convert it. Shoot me an offer!
