Pioneer Light Replacement Kit w/ White LEDs TX-7500 TX-9500 Tuner Lamp Bulbs
Up for sale here is this complete replacement lighting set for the Pioneer TX-7500 and TX-9500. You will receive: Four (4) warm white LED wedge lamps (for the tuning dial) Two (2) wired 8v LEDs (for the function lamps) These are top-quality bulbs, and are the exact same ones I use when I rebuild vintage gear. These are top-of-the-line lights–I love using them! You will need a soldering iron, wire cutters, needlenose pliers, and a Philips screwdriver. Be very careful not to damage the tuning dial cord when you’re soldering! If you wrap the dial cord in aluminum foil ahead of time, that will help protect it. Pioneer TX-9500 II rebuild restoration recap service kit fix repair capacitor
The scarcity of good, honest techs who can do good and reasonably priced restoration/rebuild of audio equipment inspired me to create this restoration kit. In today’s day and age, it is difficult to find a knowledgeable technician who can service your audio gear properly. I have seen many poor quality restorations of equipment that cost way too much for their owners. In 99% of the cases, only a few parts were replaced, instead of a full and proper restoration job.A proper restoration must replace all electrolytic capacitors on all boards. Do not fall for partial kits that restore just one PCB (power supply, power amp, etc.). This is not a good or proper way to restore your audio equipment. It is the same as with car tires; one should never replace just one tire and keep the other worn-out tires on. A proper rebuild requires a full recap of all PCBs.On the other hand, if one succeeds in finding a good tech, the wait time is usually 6-12 months for the unit to be serviced, and costs are sky-high. I have been servicing audio equipment for many years and have developed deep respect for all good equipment. Knowing how amazing and warm these units can sound, I decided to put together this kit. Up for sale here is this brand new Omron LY2-0-DC48 relay. This is a replacement relay for the the Marantz 1250, Kenwood Model 700M (soft-start relay only), Pioneer SA-9900 (overtemp and protection relay), Pioneer SX-1250 (soft-start relay only), Pioneer SPEC 2 (soft-start relay only), Pioneer SX-1280 (soft-start relay only), and SAE 2600. On the Pioneer SA-9900, SX-1250, and Spec-2 you will need to take the old relay out of its case, take this new relay out of its case, and then put the new relay in the old case in order to mount it. It’s pretty easy. This is fairly easy to install as long as you know what you’re doing and have a decent soldering iron. I will email you basic installation instructions when you purchase this. Pioneer SX-1980 LED Light Bulbs SX-1280 SX-1250 4 Warm White Wedge Lamps
Up for sale here is this set of 4 warm white LED wedge-lamps. These will replace the four tuning dial lights in the Pioneer SX-850, SX-950, SX-1050, SX-1250, SX-1280, and SX-1980. These are top-quality bulbs, and are the exact same ones I use when I rebuild Pioneer gear. These are top-of-the-line lights–I love using them! The warm white LED wedge lamps will give a nice clear white glow–they’re a little brighter than the original incandescent bulbs. The LEDs will last forever and will run much cooler than the original incandescent bulbs, so they won’t damage the vinyl case covering the way incandescents can. The last picture is of a Pioneer with these warm white wedge LEDs installed. This listing is only for the bulbs, not the receiver. I have many other colors of LED wedge lamps available, so if you want different-color wedge lamps, just let me know and I can swap them in. Pioneer SX-1050 Amp Board Rebuild Kit AWH-047 Recap & Repair Kit Complete!
Up for sale here is this AWH-047 amplifier board rebuild set for a Pioneer SX-1050. This is all the parts you need to rebuild a Pioneer SX-1050 amplifier board. Over time the amp boards start developing issues with transistors and capacitors, and sometimes completely blow up. The old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes all 8 capacitors, all 22 transistors, and all 4 trimmers. It does NOT include the big white resistors, any other resistors, or any output transistors. I have new OnSemi MJ21195G/MJ21196G outputs listed here if you need them, and I have the big white emitter resistors available here. The entire amp board uses 8 outputs (4 pairs), and you should replace all 4 on the channel if you are replacing any. Please don’t buy any of the Chinese transistors on eBay–those are counterfeit and will blow up. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are Nichicon PW and Wima film caps at the correct uf and the same or higher voltage ratings, the trimmers are new Bourns trimmers, and the transistors are Fairchild/Onsemi and are the correct subs for the original transistors. These are extremely high-quality parts, and they are what I use when I rebuild Pioneer gear. Frankly, “recapping” is a waste of time if you’re not going to replace the transistors as well. A lot of times the transistors age worse than the caps, so you should definitely change out the transistors while you’re in there. If you’re having amp board issues, it’s very likely to be a transistor issue. If your amplifier board has actually “blown up” and you see smoke marks and blackened components, those are most likely resistors and will need to be replaced as well. I will include a surprisingly well-written instruction sheet, but this is a pretty complicated repair, so if you don’t have much experience with this, buy the kit and take it to a professional. You should definitely have a fair amount of soldering experience and have a decent soldering iron, a dim-bulb tester, heat-sink compound, and a wood pencil with eraser, as well as the usual tools. Pioneer SX-1250 SX-1050 Volume Knob (Brand New & Set Screws!!) AAB-104
Pioneer SX-1250 SX-1050 Volume Knob (Brand New & Set Screws!!) AAB-104. (((Limited Production))) Manufactured here in Minnesota with T6061 Aluminum!! This is an exact Reproduction Volume Control Knob & Set Screws for the Pioneer SX-1250 and SX-1050. The Set screws are also new and are the exact replacement of the original equipment that originally came with the Volume Knob. You receive a new 1.5 Allen Wrench to mount the new knob. As original equipment for these two receiver’s Knob is not anodized. This knob is an exact fit for your unit, close in size and weight! Keep in mind when you install your new knob, make sure you do not rest the knob against the faceplate! Keep the knob distance at least 1/16 to 1/8 of an inch to prevent the knob from scratching your face plate. Again this is a new remanufactured part that is guaranteed to meet or exceed the specifications of the part you are replacing.
