4 Pin Plug in Coil Form Now here’s something you don’t see everyday. 4 Pin Plug in Coil Forms from the olden days! Wind your own coils with this plug in coil form. Made from Grade XX Garolite (Phenolic). Equipped with rim, making it easy to insert and pull out. Coil measures 1-3/8″ Diameter X 2-1/4″H. Exclusive of the pins. This is a standard size for radio coil forms. The coil form will plug into a standard 4 pin tube socket as shown in the photos (Note: Coil has the standard 2 large pins and 2 small pins) Tube Socket is not included. It is shown for identification purpose only. This is the type of coil form used in all the early receivers and transmitters. I personally build these by hand, one at a time in a regular home workshop!! There is no fancy machine shop involved, no fancy CNC equipment used. Each piece is handcrafted from various pieces of Grade XX garolite (phenolic). They are very time consuming to build, but still lots of fun to make anyway. The pins are the exact same size pins used in the early coil forms of yesteryear. I have been building these for myself for years, but finally decided to build them in quantity and offer them to others. By no means am I getting rich on selling these. In addition to the intense labor, there is the cost of the garolite, the pins, and the special glue and of course, the Ebay fees. To use it, just wind the wire (usually magnet wire, which can be found in our listings) around the form, drill a small hole where you leave off and feed it through the center down to the pins. Then just solder the end of the hollow pins. To keep the wire from unraveling, apply some polyurethane or clear nail polish. Now you can finally build some of the old radios you have seen in magazines and books but didn’t because you didn’t have the proper coil forms or replace missing and broken coil forms from old radios. 5 New FEET w/ hardware for Sansui BA-F1 CA-F1 Heavy-Duty Foot Parts
Up for sale here is this set of 5 new hard rubber feet with screws and washers. These are incredibly well-built heavy-duty feet, and are perfect replacements for vintage Sansui feet for the big receivers and amps. These are great replacements for the feet on the BA-F1 and CA-F1. They are much higher-quality than the original plastic feet, and can hold incredible amounts of weight. They will work great on other gear as well. The feet are 38mm wide and 19.2mm high. They come with five steel screws and washers for screwing them to the metal bottom cover. These feet are really nice high-impact hard rubber with internal metal washers and look really good. They can take a TON of weight. Please see my pictures for details. US shipping and handling is $5, and international is $18.
