NEW Replacement Grill KLH Model Twenty One II Table Radio Black Fabric 21/II VTG
Custom cut, high quality grill cloth replacement for the KLH Model Twenty One/II table radio, made with acoustically transparent material designed for speaker grills and custom cut to the size of the backer. Holes for the knobs, faceplate, and tuner have been pre-made, so installation is a snap. If you have a 21/II, you are probably well aware that the black grill cloth fades over time-I’ve never seen one that’s still deep black in 12 years of searching and collecting! The faded grill pretty much ruins the look of the radio, especially if you’ve taken the time and effort to refinish the beautiful walnut cabinet. The new grill is a semi-rigid, acoustically transparent black fabric that closely mimics the fabric of the original. It looks exceptional with the walnut cabinet and silver faceplate. The fabric is stiff enough to not sag across the speaker hole. This listing is for ONE GRILL ONLY. No radio, backer, or faceplate is included, photos are samples to show the finished look. KLH Model Five 5 (VTG) Speakers Replacement Grills ALL NEW Fabric & Backer TAN
NO KLH BADGES INCLUDED. The fabric is a nice light tan color with a bit of brown in the weave. Very appropriate, yet not quite as ‘1970s’ as the original. These will not fit the ‘modern’ KLH Five. It’s also thicker than the OEM material and much more resistant to cracking at the narrow points by the woofer hole.

They are thicker and much higher quality than the original grill backers, which often break near the woofer hole.Re-covering the original KLH grills is not as simple as it may first appear, the backers are thin and standard staples will poke through.

KLH Model Thirty Two Speaker Replacement Grills *Brick* ALL NEW Fabric & Backers
Note the new backer is thicker than the original-twice as thick as later production models-and less likely to crack at the narrow points, a common problem with KLH grills. This fabric is a red brick color and looks really nice with the walnut finish on KLH speakers.
