Up for sale here is this complete rebuild kit for a Marantz 1040 amplifier. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild the Marantz 1040 power supply board, amplifier board, phono EQ board, and preamp board, plus it includes upgraded replacement main capacitors, and a new incandescent power light. This does not include a fuse, power switch, the “silver can” amp board transistors, or output transistors. The correct replacements for the original output transistors are MJ21195G and MJ21196G, which I have available here. Please do not buy any of the fake “Made in Japan” Chinese output transistors listed on eBay–these are counterfeit and will damage your amp. These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild Marantz equipment. The two smaller main caps have drop-in replacements, but the third giant one (on the right) is replaced with a physically smaller cap plus a new clamp to mount it properly. The chassis has screw holes already there for this new cap–you will need to provide two small sheet-metal screws to mount it, plus reuse the nut/bolt from the old clamp. The 100 uf capacitors on the preamp and phono boards are upgraded to 220 uf caps, for more filtering and better sound. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is a moderately complicated job, and you should know what you’re doing and have a decent soldering iron and a dim-bulb tester with a 40W, 60W, or 100W incandescent bulb. Marantz Model 15 Complete Recap Kit High-Quality Amplifier Set Main Filter Caps
Up for sale here is this complete rebuild kit for the Marantz 15 amplifier. This includes replacements for all electrolytic caps in the Marantz 15. The Model 15 is just two Model 14s together. I have a kit for the Model 14 here. This kit includes ten axial Supertech capacitors and four screw-terminal Kemet 6800 uf 100v main filter caps, which are perfect upgrades from the originals and will fit nicely in the old clamps. They are a bit shorter than the originals, but will still work great. The new Supertech caps are the same capacitance as the originals except the 350 uf caps are upgraded to a 470 uf 100v. These are extremely high-quality parts, and they are what I use when I rebuild Marantz equipment. Vintage Marantz Stereo Receiver MR-235 Tested Working Cleaned Great Cosmetic
Receiver has been cleaned, tested and is working. Great cosmetic condition for its age. A few small marks shown in photos. Please see all photos. All inputs were tested and are working.
