Up for sale here is this recap kit for the Technics SL-20 or SL-23 turntable. This is all the capacitors you need to rebuild the two circuit boards on a Technics SL-20 or SL-23. The old capacitors often get leaky, resulting in speed issues. These turntables will often have many other issues, and this kit comes with detailed instructions that will explain how to solve most problems that an SL-20 or SL-23 can have. This kit includes all 6 capacitors for the speed control board, as well as one capacitor to replace the one on the power supply board. The old cap is axial (one lead at each end), but the new one is radial (both leads at one end, and it will fit in perfectly. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same parts I use when I work on vintage stereo gear. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is a mildly complicated job, and you should know what you’re doing and have a decent soldering iron, as well as Deoxit D5 or a similar contact cleaner. Up for sale here is this complete rebuild kit for the Technics SL-1200 Mk2 (or the SL-1210 Mk2) turntable. This is all the capacitors you need to replace all of the electrolytic capacitors in your turntable, plus one new transistor to replace Q1 and two zener diodes to replace D2 and D301. Leaky capacitors can damage the IC chips, so even if your turntable is working, you should still recap it. Please note that this kit is for the SL-1200 Mk2 only.
