Up for sale here is this Sansui F-1474 driver board rebuild set. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild two (2) F-1474 driver boards (one for each channel). These are found in the Sansui Eight Deluxe receiver, but NOT the regular Sansui Eight. Over time the driver boards start developing issues with the capacitors, transistors, diodes, and trimmers, and often the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes enough parts to replace all the electrolytic capacitors, all the trimmers, the six diodes, the one fuse resistor, and all the small signal transistors (not the three larger ones). It does NOT include replacements for the other transistors, or any resistors. This kit is meant to rebuild working driver boards, so if your receiver is not coming out of protection or is blowing fuses, or if you see visible damage on the driver boards, this kit may not fix your receiver. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are all Nichicon PW, Nichicon Muse, and Wima film caps at the correct uf and the same or higher voltage ratings, the trimmers are new Bourns trimmers, and the transistors and diodes are the correct Fairchild/Onsemi subs for the original transistors and diodes. These are not cheap Made in China parts, they are extremely high-quality and they are what I use when I rebuild Sansui gear. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is a fairly complicated and delicate rebuild, and you should know what you’re doing and have a decent soldering iron and a dim-bulb tester.
