You are bidding on (1) complete Vintage Electron Inc. ABP (Amplifier Binding Post) upgrade kit for the Dynaco ST70, MKIII, and MKIV tube amplifiers. This kit replaces the old screw terminal phenolic output strips found on these amps with high quality FR4 boards and gold plated binding posts. Kit includes: (2) FR4 fiberglass binding post/jack pc boards, (2) red gold plated binding posts, (2) black gold plated binding posts, (2) terminal strips, new mounting hardware, and complete step by step instructions. This kit therefore includes enough parts to replace the speaker screw terminal output strips on one ST70, or two MKIII’s, or two MKIV’s (i.e. two jack boards). As should be obvious, this kit allows you to actively use only one of the output transformer impedances (usually 8 ohm), and the terminal strips included in the kit are used to tie off the two that won’t be used. At any time, you can simply swap the leads if you want to use a speaker with a different impedance. The binding posts are spaced on 3/4” centers to allow the use of dual banana plugs which we recommend (we sell gold plated dual banana jacks in our store if you need some). First photo shows an assembled jack board installed in a ST70 chassis to show how they look installed (ST70 chassis not included in this auction, for illustration purposes only). Buyer pays shipping. Please note, we are responsible for the board kit only, and once soldered to, all warranties and guarantees are voided except where the quality of the board kit itself is found to be faulty. (SV/SCC) operation as well as the remaining inventory of the old Dynaco National Service Center. SV/SCC was the company that purchased nearly 250,000 pounds of Dynaco parts when Dynaco closed it’s doors back in 1979; they also purchased the existing Hafler inventory from the Rockford Fosgate Corporation back in the early 1990‘s. Quantities of some parts (both Dynaco and Hafler) are very limited as can be expected.
