Up for sale here is this set of 4 Nichicon VR capacitors. These are 6800 uf 50v capacitors, and are perfect replacements for the main filter capacitors in the Kenwood KA-7100. These are almost the exact diameter of the old coupling capacitors, and they have full-length wires, making it easy to mount them. These are extremely high-quality new capacitors and are the same ones I use when I rebuild vintage gear. They have mid-2020 production dates. Dimensions for these capacitors are 50.6mm tall and 22mm in diameter. Terminals are 11mm apart, and are 38mm long (positive) and 32mm long (negative). These are smaller than the old caps, due to improvements in design. Please see my pictures for details. A note about installation: Main filter capacitors are usually used to provide the positive and negative rails to the amplifier section, so two of them will appear to be wired backwards (with positive to chassis ground). This is normal. Before you replace your capacitors, take some clear pictures of the wiring so you will know how to connect the new ones. If your equipment starts blowing fuses after replacing the main filter capacitors, you probably wired one or more backwards. US shipping and handling is $5, and international is $18.
