Up for sale here is this complete recap kit for the Crown D150A Series II amplifier. This includes replacements for all electrolytic capacitors on the D150A Series II. This is not for the original D150, that kit is here. This kit includes the following:12 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Nichicon Muse, Supertech axial, 2 Chemi-con) These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. Most capacitors are the same uf rating as the old ones, but the two 25 uf non-polar capacitors are replaced with non-polar Nichicon Muse 22 uf 25v, and the new main filter caps are 12000 uf. These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild vintage gear. The replacements for the screw-terminal main filter capacitors are two Chemi-Con 12000 uf 63v screw-terminal caps, which will mount perfectly. This kit includes replacements for the electrolytic capacitors on the D150A Series II, but there are other things that can go wrong in these amps, so this kit may not solve your issues, though it will certainly help your amp work better, and should solve most hum issues. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is moderately complicated. You should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron.
